The brain is the biggest sex organ.

The brain is the biggest sex organ

The key to a great sex life is a healthy brain

I was just going to post the nugget ‘ The brain is the biggest sex organ’ and leave it at that, short and snappy!

But, as I believe a lot of people know this information already, I’m thinking I should at least look into it a bit more and maybe share with you and expand my brain cells at the same time, so here are some more nuggets I found out today.

KS. X

There is so much more to sexual attraction than meets the eye and it only takes just a split second for us to feel attraction and desire for a potential partner.

Connection and intimacy begins in our mind.

Your mind controls your body and your body talks back to your mind. This conversation will either cause sexual excitement or sexual inhibition.

One researcher found that it can take less than a fifth of second to fall for someone.

Professor Stephanie Ortigue, author of the Syracuse University Study, reported that brain chemicals such as oxytocin, adrenaline and vasopressin can all be released almost immediately when we see someone we are attracted to.

Research from this study found that, the rush of pleasurable brain chemicals that are released when we fall in love, are similar to the endorphin rush that people get from using drugs like cocaine.

Brain health and brain illness have a powerful affect on sexuality.

When your brain works right, you work right.

Try using Asian ginseng, gingko biloba and L-arginine, these will boost the blood flow to the brain.

Anything that decreases blood flow to your brain will decrease it to your genitals, including caffeine, nicotine and a lack of sleep.

Many brain issues get in the way of great sex, depression is just one. Treating these issues can enhance our ability to connect with others and perform sexually’, according to Dr. Amen. ( I bet we all know someone who has been afflicted by this illness. KS )

He recommends omega-3 fatty acids in the form of fish oil, exercise and l-tyrosine (the amino acid building block for the neurotransmitter dopamine) for increasing the activity in the prefrontal cortex of the brain, thereby diminishing these conditions.

There…end of nuggets for now.

So to summarise in my own way…Look after your brain, feed it all the supplements you can, give it plenty of sleep and also feed it with good talk… I believe that the conversations that we have with ourselves are the most important conversations that we can have, and not just ones about sex, although they can be the most interesting. Remember confidence comes from within, if you feel confident, happy and healthy then you are more likely to feel sexy, therefore bringing you lots of admiring male or female glances, and maybe you will be more likely to meet your true mate quicker. I however am lucky to have found mine…but I can still enjoy the glances, when I get one of course.

So remember ALL of the above, buy some fish oil, ditch those fags and the coffee and get yourself a good nights sleep and perhaps tomorrow night and for many more after that you will be having some great sex with the love of your life.

I take cod liver oil every once after dinner! Yes, I need to take care of my brain which doesn’t seem to function well, just can’t figure out on a lot of things. I totally agree with your statement – the brain is the biggest sex organ – I have written this phrase a few times in my blog postings.
